Check the USB connection:

Make sure the scanner has power:

  • The power cable should be connected to the scanner and a power outlet. 
  • Check that the power cable is connected to the scanner and a live electrical outlet correctly.

  • Still, the problem appears, then press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn off the scanner. Now, disconnect the power cable from the scanner. 
  • At last, you have to reconnect the power cable to the scanner, and then press the Power button to turn on the scanner.


Reset the scanner:

  • If the TWAIN-compliant software is open then you have to close it.
  • Now, remove all the USB cables connected between the scanner and the computer. 
  • Turn off your computer and wait for few seconds. Then turn on your computer.  
  • Next, you need to reconnect the USB cable to a USB port on the back of the computer.
  • Try connecting the USB cable to a different USB port on the back of the computer
